FIA Topic of the Week

TOPIC OF THE WEEK

When you knit or crochet dishclothes, washclothes or face clothes, what do you use? I use a pattern, some yarn and a couple of pointy sticks

What size needle or hook? Whatever the pattern calls fo, usually a 7

Wood? what type? Metal? Plastic? A specific Brand? I like wood. I have never been a fan of metal and I only used plastic (Denise Interchangeables) because of my dislike of metal. Knitpicks harmony's however have stolen my heart.

Why do you love that needle or hook so much? Please see my review of the harmony's below for a complete reason for my love

Is there one you are dying to try? I really would love to try to knit socks on two circulars, or magic loop. Eventually I'll get around to getting some of the knitpicks harmony's circs in the little sizes.

Is there a particular yarn you love and use all the time for clothes? What is so special about it? I love Alpaca for clothes. It has the same warmth as wool, without the itchiness and it wicks the moisture away so u don't get too hot while wearing it. It soo soft.
